Changes to Demo Account Policy on MT5 - OxSecurities-Live
Dear Valued Client,
Effective 1st May, all newly created demo accounts will be created on our new MT5 demo server: MT5 OxSecurities-Demo.
As part of this transition, we will no longer support demo accounts on the MT5 OxSecurities-Live server.
Demo accounts currently hosted on OxSecurities-Live will be subject to a change in policy starting 1st June.
Please read the important details below:
What’s Changing?
Old Demo Accounts Will Expire
Any demo account that hasn't been accessed in the last 30 days will automatically expire.
Once expired, accounts cannot be recovered.
For example: If you haven’t logged in since 1st May, your account will expire on 1st June.
Inactive Accounts Will Be Deactivated
On 1st June, demo accounts will be deactivated if they:
Have a balance under $1,000, and
Have fewer than 10 trades in the last 30 days
What You Should Do
To keep using a demo account:
Log in and trade above the deactivation amount before 1st June to avoid expiration or deactivation.
We recommend creating a new demo account on the updated server: MT5 OxSecurities-Demo.
